Teachers earn national certification

The University of Nebraska and Wayne State College recently awarded national certification in personal finance to Millard business teachers. String players perform

Over 75 students in grades 5 – 12 performed in the All-Millard Marching String Ensemble at the Millard Days Parade. Students played violins, violas, and cellos. Bass players held banners and threw candy to the crowd.

Each year, Newsweek Magazine picks the best high schools in the U.S. “based on how hard school staffs work to challenge students with advanced placement college-level courses and tests." Only six percent make the list including all three Millard high schools. Read more.

For the fifth time, the Millard School District has been honored for having one of the nation's top 100 music programs.
